【Scope of Domestic Waterway and Land Cargo Insurance Coverage】

The general cargo can be insured; 

The following goods are not in the insurance coverage and shall not be insured, and the insurance company will not 

be liable for indemnity: 

1. Cargoes that the insurance value is difficult to be determined objectively such as gold and silver bars, precious metal 

and its products, jewelry, jade jewelry, jade, jade carvings, jade products, pictures, sculptures or other artworks, as 

well as computer software;

2. Currencies, stocks, bonds, stamps, revenue stamps, bills and other securities; 

3. Various documents and certificates, account books, evidences of indebtedness, or other commercial certificates 

and books;

4. Explosives and ammunitions; hazardous articles and contraband goods;

5. Live animals, plants, metal ores (including ores and mineral powder), peanuts, fishmeal eggs and logs;

6. Bulk cement, jade articles, fishmeal and other articles imported to inland market without commodity inspection.

【Report Prescription】

If damages to the insured cargo are found from the date of such cargo arriving at the destination stated on the note of 

arrival, the consignee shall consult with Yuan Cheng branches to report such case in time and apply for examination. 

The maximum service period is 10 days.  

【Effective Time Limit for Insurance Claims】

If claims are not applied to the insurance company and necessary documents are not presented within 180 days from 

the next day of learning or that shall learn the damage to the insured cargoes, rights and interests shall be regarded 

as being waived voluntarily, and the insurance company will not accept the case any longer.
